An improved current-statical α-jerk maneuvering target model is proposed.It assumes that when a target is maneuvering with a certain jerk at present,the region of jerk which can be taken in the next instant is limited.Therefore,it is unnecessary to take all of the jerk values of targets into account during the establishment of statistical model of maneuvering.To improve the position accurancy in tracking maneuvering targets,a mean value of jerk is added compared with α-jerk model,that is,modeling the jerk based on the none zero-mean value.The simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm can adaptively estimate the value of parameter α and converges more quickly and has lower estimation error in position compared with α-jerk maneuver model.
