Study on the Utilization of Sentence Type in Liuzu Tanjing

Using the methods of description and comparison,this paper emphatically discusses utilization of the important sentence-pattern in Liuzu Tanjing(六祖坛经) such as judgment statement,passive sentence,moving-complementing sentence,handling sentence,comparison sentence,imperative sentence and so on.The judgment statement of new,old form had been mixed and used.Meanwhile the modern judgment pattern SVO had been used massively.The types of imperative sentence are more and expressed separately order,forbid,request,expostulate,hope and so on.Some significance of praying is also used now.In addition,other sentence types also present the respective characteristic of the text.
