Preliminary Study of Characteristics of Thermoluminescent Spectra of Feldspar

The thermoluminescent characteristic of feldspar has been studied ever since. A new study method for thermoluminescence spectra of feldspar, based on characteristics of thermoluminescence spectra of some typical feldspar samples, is presented in this paper. It is also pointed out that it will play an important role in feldspar dating research while selecting one reasonable thermoluminescence peak at appropriate wavelength, due to the different features of thermoluminescence peaks at different wavelength, especially of thermoluminescence sensitivity to radiation doses,
