Principle of rolling circle amplification and its application in medicine

Rolling circle amplification(RCA) is a recently developed isothermal nucleic acids amplification method.This method can not only amplify DNA and RNA directly,but also allow the enlargement of signal from target nucleic acids with the sensitivity up to one copy of nucleic acids molecule.As a result,RCA technique indicates great values and potentials in the detection of nucleic acids.This paper present RCA principle,the lates progress in RCA technique and its application in medicine.
