Progress of Triterpenoids from Centella asiatica and Their Pharmacological Activities

Centella asiatica(L.) Urban,as a traditional herbal medicine,has long been used in China for the treatment of traumatic injuries,sore boils,jaundice with damp-heat,etc.This plant contains considerable amounts of triterpenoids.Progress of triterpenoids from Centella asiatica and their pharmacological activities are reviewed to providing reference data for better development of Centella asiatica.
