摘要
Constructivism is both a philosophical and a psychological perspective on the nature of knowledge and learning. While there are various interpretations of Constructivism, at its core it refers to the idea that humans actively construct meaning by engaging with ideas or in experiences before linking that information to their prior knowledge, or schema. When applied to curriculum, this theory espouses for student-centred, multisensory, and scaffolded learning experiences for students as opposed to more didactic, teacher-centred experiences that are more focused on rote learning.
