Power semiconductor devices like IGBT, MOSFET, high brightness LED and high power laser diodes generate significant amount of heat in operation. As the size of those devices will continue to shrink in the next decades, design engineers will have to deal with heat flux from few hundreds up to many thousands of Watts per cm². Unfortunately there is not one cooling solution that fits all applications. In this webinar, you will get an overview of the different cooling technologies. The benefits and drawbacks of each technology will be highlighted in order to provide guidance for the selection of the best one for your application. Finally direct liquid cooling technology from curamik® will be presented as a suitable solution for the most demanding applications.
