Synthesis and Characterization of Melamine Pyrophosphate

Melamine pyrophosphate,a new kind of nitrogen-phosphorus flame-retardants,was synthesized from melamine and sodium pyrophosphate and characterized by FTIR,TGA.The effect of reaction temperature,reaction time,pH of the reaction mixture and times of the reuse of solvent were investigated.The content of nitrogen and phosphorus of the target compound were determined.
