Advances on the feature and function of diaphragm

Objective:To review the advances of diaphragm on the study of its feature and function in last 25 years.Methods:The files dealing with the feature and function of diaphragm has been searched and collected from PubMed and CNKI database and then analized.Results:The diaphragm is the most important breathing muscle,but the study about the feature and function of diaphragm is common in animal experiment mostly.Conclusions:As the target organ,the change of diaphragmatic structure and function will take place under the influence of some pathological factors in breath system.
