摘要
To establish the morphological parameters of Cryptoporidium oocyts of the Shenyang Kunming (KM) mouse origin and the Changchun cattle origin, the Cryptoporidium oocyt images of the Shenyang KM mouse origin and the Changchun cattle origin were obtained by computer photographic system, and the length, width and perimeter of oosyts were determined by computer digital image processing system. It was found that when 1190 oocyts of the Shenyang KM mouse origin were measured, the average length, width and shape index of ooysts were 5.93 μm, 4.96μm and 1.19 respectively. Meanwhile, when 922 oocyts of the Changchun cattle origin were measured, the average length, width and shape index were 5.19 μm, 4.17 μm and 1.25 respectively. It seems that the oocyts from Shenyang KM mouse origin are bigger in size than those from Changchun cattle origin, but their shape indeces are similar. It is concluded that the Cryptoporidium oocyts of these two host sources are quite different in length and width.
