Research and application of genetic programming in fault diagnosis field

As a kind of new and strong intelligence technology, Genetic Programming has been widely used in many fields of science and engineering. This paper mainly studies the application of Genetic Programming in fault diagnosis field in order to drive and realize intelligent diagnosis. Furthermore, this paper builds a gearbox testing system in laboratory and simulates the modes of gearbox representative faults. Then the paper analyzes the special data derived from the experiments by genetic programming and recognizes the fault modes.
