In this paper, the experimental study on oxygen enrichment in a relatively closed environment was carried out.The results indicated that the oxygen flow rate of the oxygen generation machine was the most important factor that would influence the oxygen concentration. In addition, the diffusion and distribution of oxygen concentration were also affected by the air circulating.Furthermore, when there was no oxygen fed into the environment, the indoor oxygen concentration decreased obviously because of the oxygen consumption by people. In other words, feeding oxygen could notably increase the oxygen content in a relatively closed environment. At last, when the oxygen enrichment system was compared with the traditional air-conditioning system with outdoor air, both of the energy consumption and operating cost could be obviously reduced.
