Robust biomimetic MOF featuring a negative pocket for precise recognition of uranyl, enabling ultrahigh U/V selectivity and rapid uranium extraction from seawater

We report here a MOF featuring negatively charged interhelical pockets in a three-dimensional channel, showing a remarkable U/V selectivity and a uranium uptake capacity of 16 mg g −1 in one day from seawater.
