Abstract: Natural gas which is, pr that has to be transported by pipeline must meet certain specification. In addition, buyers define natural gas composition, which differs from composition of produced natural gas. Produced natural gas must be processed in order to remove all the unwanted admixtures, including water. Water is known to cause numerous problems during natural gas transportation, such as hydrate formation and it also reduces pipeline capacity. Most used natural gas dehydration methods are presented in this paper. Selection of a certain method is a function of water content in the gas, operating pressure and temperature and required purity level of dry gas.
