Synthesis, characterization and derivatization of hydroxyl-functionalized iron(ii) bis(NHC) complexes

Esterification reactions are applied for the derivatization of a novel hydroxyl-functionalized NHC/pyridine hybrid ligand and the corresponding iron complexes.
