Research on carburizing technology and developments

Carburizing is a surface chemical heat treatment techonology, so that the steels' surface within a certain depth could form a carburized layer of high hardness and wear resistance. The hearts area without carburizing could maintain sufficient strength and toughness. In this paper, the classification of caburized technology, the developments and improvements were reviewed.
