ABSTRCTOne previously undescribed polyketide compound (1) and eight known ones (2-9) were isolated from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus versicolor JGC-G1. Their chemical structures were elucidated by HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR analysis, experimental ECD, and calculated ECD data. Nine polyketide compounds were assessed for antifungal activity against Candida albicans CMCC 98001 and Aspergillus niger R330. Compounds 1 and 7 showed significant antifungal effect against these two fungi, with the MICs ranging from 0.781 to 3.125 μg/ml.
