A high affinity and selective DNA aptamer for copper ions

A high affinity aptamer for Cu 2+ with a dissociation constant value of 14.2 nM was isolated using the capture-SELEX method, and it was used to develop a strand-displacement fluorescent biosensor with a limit of detection of 2.1 nM.
