Ecohydrological effects of biological soil crust on the vegetation dynamics of restoration in a dryland ecosystem

In this PPT, we showed what we did on the ecohydrological effects of biocrust on the vegetation dynamics of dryland ecosystems after restoration. We found some very interesting points. 1) Biocrust reduced the infiltration into deep soils and increased that in shallow soils. 2) Biocrust shifted the final state of dryland ecosystem after restoration from shrub-dominated state to grass-dominated state.
