Interaction of Dinitrogentrioxide with Ir(I) Complexes

Activation of N2O3 with iridium(I) complexes affords nitrosylnitrate complexes of iridium(III), Oxy-genation of these complexes and the reaction of N2O3 with iridium(I) complexes in the presence of oxygen give nitro-nitrato complexes of iridium(lll). These complexes are characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, conductivity and magnetic studies.
