The honeycombed girders(which is made of H profiled steel or I -shaped steel)were modeled and analyzed by using the finite element method. The effects of the types of loads on the mechanical behaviors of honeycombed girders was studied, and the characteristics of stresses distribution done too. Considering the effects of the number of holes, the height distensible times, and the ratio of height to span, it is indicated that the use of honeycombed girders is more economical and some things must be noticed in the honeycombed girders design in comparison with general steel girders. The concise formula is also settled.
