“Media Literary Event” in the Context of Consumption Culture

Since 1990s,consumption culture and mass media supported by consumption culture boomed rapidly.Against this background,this literary phenomenon such as “beautiful female writers” and “writers after 1980” comes into being.This paper puts forward the term of “media literary event”,and tries to find out the reasons for this phenomenon.
