Progress in Using Plant Bioreactor to Produce Pharamatical Protein

Plant bioreactor was much concerned because of the characteristics of low cost,safety,the same immunogenicity and biological activity of the expressed products compare with animal bioreactor,etc.It is a new trend in plant genetic engineering by using plant bioreactor to produce pharmaceutical proteins.A variety of products are studies on clinical stage.In this paper,we reviewed the recent studies on pharmaceutical protein producing by plant bioreactor,analyzed the current problems existing in plant bioreactor,and prospected the application of this technology in future.
