Influence of loading cracking on chloride ions diffusion in concrete

Transport in cement-based materials is very complicated.Influence of cracking on chloride ions diffusion has been studied through immersing method.Cracking was introduced by splitting loading,and cracking width was measured through image analysis technology.It was found that cracking could accelerate the chloride-ion migration,and the chloride ions diffusion coefficient increases with the increasing crack width.
