Study on Chlorination Gold Recovery with Sodium Chlorate from Silver Positive Mud

Effects of sodium chlorate addition, acidity, reaction time and guantity of stabilizer on leaching recovery of gold are studied when chlorine was replaced by sodium chlorate in the process of recovering Au, Pt, Pd from silver positive electrode mud. The results show that the process has the advantages of higher utilization ratio of sodium chlorate, faster reaction speed and less environment pollution.
