Antibacterial peptide was a kind of bioactive micromolecule polypeptide,inducing from living organisms.There were included Defensions and Cathelkicidins,antibacterial peptide protegrin belonged to Cathelkicidins.Antibacterial peptide protegrin had strong antibacterial and rapid sterilization activity.This article mainly reviewed structure,gene expression,the mechanism and effect factors of gene expression and application prospect of antibacterial peptide protegrin.
