Most of our country's crude oils(including crude oils from its marine oil fields)have two kinds:one is thick and waxy,the other is heavy,highly viscoous and condensated.The flow properties of these two types of crude oils are poor.Adding the freezing point depressant is one of the ways to improve the low-temperature rheological behavior of waxy crude oil.Focusing on the performance of AM(acrylamide)/AA(acrylic acid)/AE(alkyl phenol polyethyleneoxide ether acrylic ester)copolymer freezing point depressant,this paper makes a systematic study of the effect of the polymerization system monomer density and the reaction temperature on the copolymer inherent viscosity,discusses the influence of the copolymer content on the waxy crude fluidity.Then a conclusion is drawn that adding the pour point depressant plays a crucial role in transmission of the waxy crude.
