Investigation on the occurrence status of adhesion after nasal endoscopic operation and its influence factors

Objective To observe and study the occurrence situation of adhesion after nasal endoscopic operation, investigate its related influence factors. Methods 410 patients with nasal endoscopic operation in Fuxin Mining Group General Hospital from January 2012 to February 2014 were selected as research object, and the postoperative adhesion rate of all the patients was analyzed, the adhesion rates of patients with different disease situations and treatment situations were compared, then the relationship between the analysis factors and adhesion were analyzed by the Logistic analysis. Results 27 cases out of 410 patients were with postoperative adhesion, the adhesion rate was 6.59%. The adhesion rates of patients with the disease situations including infection, middle turbinate lesions and higher disease types were higher than those of other patients(P 0.05); and the adhesion rates of patients with the treatment situations including the application of vaseline gauze and high expansion hemostatic materials, longer packing time, untreated middle turbinate, intraoperative improper handling, nasal operation history and without postoperative regular nasal cavity were higher than those of other patients(P 0.05); all those disease situations and treatment situations factors closely related with the adhesion by the Logistic analysis(P 0.05). Conclusion The incidence of adhesion after nasal endoscopic operation is high, and related with many diseases and treatment factors, which should be paid more attention and intervention of patients with nasal endoscopic operation.
