Objective To compare the diagnostic values of normal and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography for testicular torsion. Methods The normal and contrast-enhanced ultrasound images were retrospectively analyzed in 26patients with testicular torsion, and were compared their accuracies for the diagnosis of testicular torsion. Results The coincidence rate of normal ultrasonography was 61.5%,and was 92.3% of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, showing a significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography has a great value to the diagnosis of testicular torsion, and could be an assistant method when the normal ultrasonography could not make a diagnosis.
