Compared with the regulation of common securities investment fund,hedge fund regulation,based on profound economic and legal theories,is quite characteristic in its methods,contents,goals and objects.As to hedge fund regulation there exist two opposite views named anti-regulation and comprehensive regulation.Only by establishing desired regulatory systems capable of keeping hedge funds run properly and efficiently,can hedge funds make positive contributions to financial markets.
