A phase-evolved BiOCl/Bi 3 O 4 Cl S-scheme heterojunction for enhanced photocatalytic nitrogen fixation

In this work a BiOCl/Bi 3 O 4 Cl heterojunction is constructed with a built-in electric field to promote charge transfer and lower the N 2 activation barrier, achieving a nitrogen fixation rate of 93.7 μmol g −1 h −1 without sacrificial agents.
