摘要
A robust metal–organic framework (MOF) catalyst featuring site‐isolated Ir centers, UiO‐67‐Pyma‐Ir, is reported for selective hydrogenation of nitroaromatics under mild conditions. UiO‐67‐Pyma‐Ir exhibits exceptional chemoselectivity by preferentially catalyzing the hydrogenation of nitro groups to amino groups in the presence of potentially susceptible functional groups such as carbonyl (CO), alkene (CC), and halogen substituents, enabling high conversion of nitroarenes while retaining the integrity of sensitive functional motifs. UiO‐67‐Pyma‐Ir also demonstrates high stability and recyclability as its activity and structural integrity is maintained over six consecutive cycles without significant degradation. This work provides a sustainable strategy for the synthesis of functionalized anilines with promising potential in fine chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
