摘要
Traditionally regarded as an electron reservoir, C60 is now revealed as a direct catalytic site for CO2 electroreduction. Combining data mining, ab initio simulations, and pH–field coupled microkinetics, Hao Li et al. uncover in their Research Article (e202511924) how C60's curvature-induced dipole response stabilizes COOH*, enabling pH-sensitive volcano tuning and redefining the catalytic role of curved carbon materials.
