An AcDOF4‐AcPILS7 Module Promotes Fruitlet Abscission by Suppressing Auxin Transport in Areca catechu L.

Abstract An ethylene‐induced AcDOF4‐ AcPILS7 regulatory module mediates auxin transport in the abscission zone during fruitlet abscission in Areca catechu . The molecular interaction between AcDOF4 and AcERF116 might be a junction to coordinate abscission signals of ethylene and auxin to eventually determine the fruitlet fate.
