Future public land mobile telecommunication systems for developing countries

The paper describes the general information about the activities being carried out in ITU-R on the future public land mobile telecommunication systems (FPLMTS) and its use in the developing countries for providing telecommunication services in an economical way so as to bridge the gap between the developed and the developing countries in the area of the telecommunications.
