In article number 2002135, Mark C. Hersam and co-workers delineate recent advances in nanocomposite ionogel electrolytes to highlight their beneficial attributes in the context of solid-state rechargeable batteries. This work also outlines the remaining challenges and future research directions that will help guide and accelerate the incorporation of nanocomposite ionogel electrolytes in widespread practical applications.
