摘要
In this article, an improvised voltage switching scheme is implemented for an open end winding PMSM (OEWPMSM) to reduce torque ripple using direct torque control (DTC) technique. This article focuses on the comparative study of various direct torque control schemes for an open end winding PMSM. The classical DTC can control torque and flux whereas, in this article, two different DTC methods are implemented for an OEWPMSM. The first method is used to monitor electromagnetic torque and d-axis current and second method is to control electromagnetic torque and reactive torque of the motor. The proposed DTC schemes are simulated using MATLAB, and the obtained results are compared with classical DTC. From simulation results, it is evident that the proposed methods give lesser ripple in torque.
