A Preliminary Study on Relative Fatness of Portunus trituberculatus

Based on carapace length and body weight of four wild populations of Portunus trituberculatus(Yalujiangkou,YL;Laizhouwan,LZ;Haizhouwan,HZ;Zhoushan,ZS),their relative fatnesses(Le Cren's relative condition index,Kn) were comparatively analyzed in this study.The relative fatnesses of these four populations were YLLZHZZS.The relative fatness had the significant difference between YL population and ZS population in October(P0.01),but no significant difference between male and female of four populations(P0.05).In addition,the relative fatness was not related to the different stages of cultured Portunus trituberculatus.
