The change regularity and prognostic value of heart rate turbulence in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy

Objective To invest the change regularity and prognostic value of heart rate turbulence (HRT) in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM). Method Forty-two DCM patients as DCM group and 50 health persons as control group.The CHF group was devided into subgroups according to different severity degree.Then collect the basic information,draw out index signs:HRT (including TO and TS),heart rate variability(HRV) from Holter and left ventricular eject fraction(LVEF) from UCG. Results TO in DCM patients was significant higher than those in control(P0.05),while TS was significant lower than those in control(P0.05).TS in severe patients were significant lower than those in mild patients (P0.05).There is significant correlation between turbulence TO and LVER(P0.05),and between TS and HRV or LVEF(P0.05). There is no correlation between turbuence TO and TS(P0.05).Conclusion HRT was significant weaked in patients with DCM, and maybe indicate the severity degree of DCM patients.
