An Investigation and Analysis of Calisthenics Teaching in Our Clniversity

By using questionnaires, we made a sampling investigation on students specializing in calisthenics in Grade 01 and 02. Investigation items include teaching content and teaching model. The result shows that the students' demands for calisthenics lesson are multi leveled and diversified.Students mainly like physique posture and popular calisthenics which are easy to learn and have low demands for arena and apparatus. At the same time, most of them are eager to learn street dance, Latin calisthenics and athletic calisthenics which are more fashionable and energetic. Based on teaching situation of calisthenics in our college,we need to make further adjustment to teaching content and satisfy the students' desire for knowledge in accordance with the students' needs.
