Protective Effect of Three kinds of Gastrodia Elata on Cerebral Ischemia-reperfusion Injury in Mice

Objective:To compare the protective effect of three kinds of Gastrodia elata of Zhaotong,on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.Methods:A bilateral carotid artery ligation was conducted to make cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury mice model and the effect of three kinds of Gastrodia elata on the cerebral infarction rates and SOD activity and MDA content were observed.Results:Compared with the model group,three kinds of Gastrodia elata reduced the rate of mice cerebral infarction,increased SOD activity and decreased MDA content,but the comparison between Gastrodia elata groups was not statistically significant.Conclusion:The three kinds of Gastrodia elata can significantly improve the ischemia-reperfusion injury of the mice,but the function of the three kinds of Gastrodia elata shows no statistical significance.
