Application of Engraving Technology in Anti-counterfeiting Printing

Engraving is one of the most important traditional graphical techniques.It plays a vital role in the field of anti-counterfeiting printing.The techniques of engraving were introduced including handcraft engraving,mechanical engraving,electronic engraving,and laser engraving.Their ability of anti-counterfeiting function was also analyzed.Digital engraving as a new technique was analyzed in detail.The advantages of this technique are that it is easy to operate,quickly processed,and so on,which adds new contents to anticounterfeiting printing.
