Water pollution of Ting River(Changting section) and its cause of formation

This paper summarizes the monitoring data for water pollution of Ting River during 2000 to 2004 and analyzes the present status、 characteristics of water pollution and it′s cause of formation.The result indicates that water pollution of Ting River is becoming worse.NH3-N is the chief pollutant and breeding industry pollution is the main pollution source.Some countermeasures and suggestions for pollution control are also proposed.
