INTERACTION BETWEEN MODERNIZATION DRIVE AND DEVELOPMENT OF LITERATURE

The modernization of Chinese literature arose with the start of China's modernization drive in the middle of the 19th century, manifesting itself in the self-awareness of literature and the self-awareness of man. And in turn, the modernization of Chinese literature pushed further forward the modernization of the Chinese society as a whole. The interaction between the modernization drive and the development of literature reflects the dialectical relationship between literature and social superstructure.
