[Objective]To compare the effects and safety of bupropion and mirtazapine on depressive disorder associated with anxiety.[Methods] 103 patients were divided into 2 groups.53 were selected as bupropion group,including 27 males,26 females,aged(34±11) years,treated with bupropion 300~450 mg,po,qd for 6 weeks.Depressive period of this time was 3~8 months.50 were selected as mirtazapine group,including 26 males,24 females,aged(38±11) years,treated with bupropion 30~45 mg,po,qd for 6 weeks.[Results] The marked effective rates of bupropion group and mirtazapine group were 71.7% and 74.0%,the difference was not significant(P0.05) in treating depression symptoms,but the marked effective rates of bupropion group and mirtazapine group were 48% and 76%,the difference was significant.(P0.05) in treating anxiety symptoms.The overall adverse reactions in bupropion group and mirtazapine group showed no obvious difference.[Conclusion] Bupropion and sertraline are safe and effective in treatment of depression,but mirtazapine is superior to bupropion in reducing anxiety symptoms.
