Progress in synthesis and application in silicone rubber modification of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane

The synthesis of eight kinds of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane( POSS) and the modification of silicone rubber with POSS were summarized with 59 references. POSS had a significant impacts on properties of silicone rubber,such as thermal stability,rheological properties,mechanical properties.
