Research on Drillability Sections of Rocks and Bit Selection in TaZhong Area

On the basis of characteristics of deep logs in TaZhong Area,the method of integrated information(including seismic,logging,drilling and laboratory information,etc.) is taken to study anti-drilling of formation,rock properties and drillability sections,and the mechanical parameters such as compressive strength,shear strength,hardness,abrasive,roller cone and drill-level of PDC bit are obtained,and drillability sections of the fault in Tower I are established.In this paper,a measure that the bit types are determined in combined with drillability sections is presented by analyzing practical log data in 101 wells,good field test results proves that the measure is economical and can improve the ROP in drilling deep wells.
