Study on Active Carbon Decolourization of Triglycol

Decolourization of triglycol products with disqualified luster was studied with active carbon as decoloring agent.The active carbon was screened.The effects of temperature,air speed,treating volume and treating period on the active carbon decoloring results were tested.Result showed that decolourization of triglycol with active carbon was simple in process and convenient in operation but high in cost.
