Analysis of Inpatients with Hepatitis who Used Antibiotics

Objective:To fred out the situation of using antibiotics among the inpatients in our hospital in recent three years and to discuss the rationality of the clinical application of the antibiotics.Methods:The varieties the total amount and the sum of money of the antibiotics used by inpatients in our hospital from 2003 to 2005 were classified and analyzed.DDDs was calculated and its change was analyzed.Results:The sum of money for using antibiotics from 2003 to 2005 was increased year after year.The sum of money of using cephalosporins was increased most rapidly.DDDs of Levofloxacin,Ceftriaxone and Piperacillin/Tazobactam were much more than those of other antibiotics in 2004 and 2005. Conclusion:The application of the antibiotics was basically rational.What should be noticed in the future is to intensify the reasonable application of these drugs and to decrease drug resistant strains.
