摘要
Optical emission and energy-transfer Eu3+↔Ho3+ process is investigated in Eu3+/Ho3+-codoped 60TeO2:40ZnO glass. Absorption and excitation spectra were collected, and photoluminescence was investigated as a function of concentration using excitations at 394 and 438 nm. The emissions were sensitive to the excitation wavelength, which determined the donor/acceptor role in the energy transfer mechanism. Two-way Eu3+↔Ho3+ energy-transfer was observed in the same host, with the Ho3+→Eu3+ route being the most efficient. This result may impact future studies exploring the properties of Eu3+/Ho3+-based phosphors.
